On a positive note, we should all remember how special music was for our mental health in 2020-2022 and beyond. Performers had their incomes ripped away, but they still had an innate need to perform.

So…musicians were playing on their balconies while neighbors came out of their homes to be soothed by the sounds. Teachers and performers were creating online performances the likes of which we’d never seen before. Families were posting fun videos of dancing together to music.

Why? Because everyone realized how crucial music is to us as individuals and to us as a society.
